Children's Home staff talks about need for foster care parents05/26/09 Robert Lorei
Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Tuesday) | Listen to this entire show:
Good afternoon. Welcome to Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up: we’ll talk about foster care with two representatives of the Children’s Home. And later we’ll hear a discussion about why single payer is being kept out of the debate on health care in Congress.
But first some listener comments about last Thursday’s program which included an interview with a St. Petersburg woman who is on a peace mission to the Gaza Strip being sponsored by Code Pink. We also had a discussion about torture.
This month is National Foster care month and we’re joined now by two advocates for children in foster care. They are Ed Tokarz who is a family development specialist with the Children’s Home and Ginger Martin who is an assistant program manager at the Children’s Home.
