Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Thursday) | Listen to this entire show:
Welcome to WMNF’s Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll talk about efforts to revive high-speed rail here in Florida.
But first some listener comments about yesterday’s interview with Tim Curtis of Tampa912- an organization inspired by talk show host Glenn Beck and which has protested at recent town hall meetings on health care reform.
Earlier this week a new group called Connect Us held press conferences around the state calling for Florida to aggressively go after federal stimulus money that’s been set aside to build high speed rail systems around the country. Joining us right now is State Senator Paula Dockery of Lakeland, who is part of this movement to revive high speed rail.
