Tampa’s Central Park Village revitalization receives $38 million from federal Recovery Act listen

$38 million of federal stimulus funds will go toward revitalization of Tampa’s Central Park Village area. The former public housing project will be re-built with some private investment as mixed-use development branded “Encore.”

In addition to the Recovery Act funds for the Central Park Village / Encore project, Democratic member of Congress Kathy Castor says housing initiatives in Pinellas and Pasco counties will receive $50 million.
