GUERRILLA MIDWIFE

Deja Bernhardt, the director and producer of Guerrilla Midwife, a film about her remarkable mother. Her mother is the "guerrilla midwife" who has decided that the modern medicalization of the birthing process has impinged on the whole birthing process and the critical bonding of the infant to mother and the world. She has dedicated herself to saving the world one birth at a time; and has given services in some of the most difficult regions of the world. This film is part of the Through Women's Eyes and the Sarasota Film Festival and will be shown Saturday, April 10th at 2:45 and again on Tuesday, April 13th at 1:45. www.skwattacamp.com
