Next up: we’ll hear about another possible non-toxic solution to the oil disaster. On Tuesday we heard from a Sarasota company who says they have a bacteria that will eat the oil and turn it into harmless substances.

Today: could the oil slick be cleaned up using ordinary hay? That’s what a Florida road-building company says is possible. There’s a video posted on our website that demonstrates how the process works. Earlier today I spoke with Darryl Carpenter, Vice President of CW Roberts, which is a road-building company. Carpenter is in north Florida. He’s one of the people in the video.

Meantime there are allegations that BP is trying to restrict press coverage of the oil disaster. Here’s a report from CBS yesterday.
