Two weeks ago, at least nine activists were killed when Israeli Commandos boarded an aid flotilla that was en route to Gaza last month. Since then, protests and vigils have been taking place all over the world. Around 40 people gathered holding signs and banners during rush hour traffic on Friday in Temple Terrace. WMNF’s Kelly Benjamin was there and spoke with Ramsey Kilic, director of the Tampa chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Remah Ahmad, a Palestinian woman who was there with her 5 children, and Aysam Mahoud.
