Despite passing the Senate last year with bi-partisan support, comprehensive immigration reform hasn’t gone anywhere in the House. During a panel discussion at USF Wednesday night, pro-immigration leaders looked at where the bill that would provide a pathway to citizenship to more than 11 million undocumented immigrants is headed.

The Student Senate at the University of South Florida is recommending to the school’s Board of Trustees that undocumented immigrants living in Florida receive in-state tuition.

The Senate voted Tuesday night on a resolution supported by Students for a Democratic Society, or SDS.

On August 4 a group called the Immigrant Rights Caravan set off from Pensacola on a journey through all of Florida's congressional districts to push for legalization for all undocumented immigrants.
