Martinez: Keep military presence in Iraq

Florida Sen. Mel Martinez told WMNF this morning he hopes there will be a U.S. military presence in Iraq, even after the 2011 withdrawal date stipulated in the Status of Forces Agreement.

“It’s the benefit, or the real yield, that has come as a result of what our troops have done down there so competently, led by General Petraeus.”
